Education & School Support

Staff Well Being Support Program

I offer a focused, time-limited wellbeing programme providing in-depth psychological support for schools and trust staff. Designed to strengthen retention, reduce stress-related absence, and promote sustainable attendance. The programme is specifically designed to support those working in demanding or high-responsibility roles.

Staff receive 20 weekly one-to-one sessions, delivered remotely or in person, within a confidential and supportive framework. Grounded in a psychodynamic approach, the work allows time for trust to develop, patterns under pressure to be understood, and meaningful, lasting change to take place.

The programme is aligned with school safeguarding and HR systems and is informed by my experience both as a qualified psychotherapist and former senior leader in schools.

Staff may include:

  • Senior leaders or staff with high responsibility
  • Those at risk of stress-related absence or currently on long term absence
  • Staff navigating significant professional or personal challenges
  • Staff who work in challenging safeguarding roles

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and supportive, not remedial.

Parents

I offer a focused, time-limited support programme providing in-depth psychological support for parents of EBSA students who are not currently attending school. Designed to strengthen parental confidence, reduce anxiety-driven patterns, and promote sustainable re-engagement with education, the programme supports families navigating complex attendance difficulties.

Parents receive 20 weekly one-to-one sessions, delivered remotely or in person, within a confidential and supportive framework. Grounded in a psychodynamic approach, the work allows time for trust to develop, underlying anxieties to be understood, and entrenched patterns around avoidance or distress to be carefully explored so that meaningful, lasting change can take place.

The programme works alongside school safeguarding and attendance systems and is informed by my experience both as a qualified psychotherapist and former senior leader in schools. This enables a nuanced understanding of family dynamics, school processes, and the pressures experienced on both sides.

Parents may include:

  • Those whose child is persistently absent or emotionally unable to attend school
  • Parents experiencing high levels of anxiety, conflict or distress linked to attendance
  • Families navigating reintegration following long-term absence
  • Parents who feel stuck, blamed or unsure how to move forward

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and supportive – not judgemental or remedial.
